1. பொக்கிஷம் – Short Story in Tamil

பாலைவனத்தின் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட பகுதிக்கு காலையில் சென்று தூரத்தில் உள்ள மலையைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டு நின்றால் கீழே விழும் அவனது நிழலுக்கு அடியில் ஒரு பொக்கிஷம் உள்ளது என்று ஒருவன் கேள்விப்பட்டான்.

உடனே அவன் காலையில் குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்தை அடைந்தான். மணலின் மீது அவன் நிழல் நீண்டு மெல்லியதாக விழுந்தது.

பொக்கிஷத்தை பெற அவன் மணலைத் தோண்ட ஆரம்பித்தான். அவன் தோண்ட… தோண்ட… சூரியன் மேலெழுந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. அவனது நிழல் சுருங்கி கொண்டே இருந்தது.

அவன், தோண்டிக் கொண்டே இருந்தான். நண்பகலில் அவன் நிழல் அவன் காலடிக்குள் நுழைந்து கொண்டது. நிழலே இல்லை.

அவன் ஏமாற்றத்தால் அழுது புலம்பினான். அப்பொழுது அவ்வழியே வந்த ஒரு பெரியவர் அவன் செயல் கண்டு சிரித்தார். அவன் அவரைப் பார்த்தான். அவர் கூறினார்.

இப்போதுதான் உன் நிழல். பொக்கிஷம் இருக்கும் சரியான இடத்தைக் காண் பிக்கிறது. அது உனக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறது.

"இருக்கும் இடத்தை விட்டு இல்லாத இடம் தேடி எங்கெங்கோ அலைகின்றார் ஞானத் தங்கமே !! "
