JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is a national-level engineering entrance examination conducted in India for admission into various undergraduate engineering courses offered by prestigious institutions like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other government-funded technical institutes. JEE is conducted in two stages, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), while JEE Advanced is conducted by the IITs.

JEE Main is conducted twice a year, in January and April. The exam is conducted in online mode.

JEE Main consists of two papers, Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech. courses and Paper 2 for B.Arch./B.Plan. courses. Both papers are conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Paper 1 consists of 90 questions, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and is of 300 marks. Paper 2 consists of 77 questions, 25 each from Mathematics and Aptitude Test, and 2 questions from Drawing Test.

JEE Advanced is conducted for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Only the top 2,50,000 candidates from JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, and is conducted in online mode. Each paper consists of three parts, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and is of 180 marks.

The JEE syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of class 11 and 12.

JEE is considered one of the toughest entrance examinations in India and requires intense preparation and hard work.

Candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria, such as age limit, educational qualification, and nationality, to appear for JEE.

JEE scores are calculated on a percentile basis, and the rank is calculated based on the candidate's percentile score.
